■ ■ Licenses for the manufacture of components, as the Metec’s patented methods.
■ ■ Machinery for cutting and powder compaction (high-speed technology).
Metec’s patented process Metec-Multi-Step (“MMS-process”) is a technology for the manufacture of powder metal components. Metec considers the MMS-process as competitive and components manufactured under the process will compete with components manufactured according to conventional methods such as forging, precision casting and cold forming. The process gives the material properties are as good or better than existing international standards for rolled and forged materials.
Metec considers that the MMS- process, together with the Metec’s machinery, has the potential to open up new markets and applications in powder metallurgy and has identified the following potential product for the multimedia process;

■ ■ Components of tool steel and high speed steel.
■ ■ Stainless steel components such as fittings, pump and valve parts and components to the exhaust and turbo systems for heavy duty diesel engines.
